St. Stephen's Church in Ashland, Nebraska

St. Stephen's Episcopal Church was built in 1872. It is the only Episcopal church in Saunders County, Nebraska.

In 1979, thanks to the efforts of town historian Alice Graham, the church was added to the National Register of Historic Places. In 1992, after years of struggling to keep the doors of St. Stephen's open, the Episcopal Diocese of Nebraska closed the church and sold it the Ashland Arts Council.

The Ashland Arts Council maintains the building, offers tours, and uses the space for events.
